The worst take on the street fighter movie ever. You’re the wrong guy to criticize something u have no idea what the pacing and the point of this movie is all about. Everything was done to showcase the fighting scenes. If u buying it for the plot, then this isn’t for u. Even the game didn’t have much plot so what r u getting at? This is one of my favorite movies of all time just on the fights scenes alone. It’s a movie I can rewatch again every few months or so and it never gets old

I watched this when I came out. I liked it back then, but I felt like I was missing some info. No, I was just a bad anime which explains why I never rewatched it and always forgets it even exists.

I've only seen Blue Gender looked upon positively back in the day, maybe this is another example of Sages signature "my opinion is absolute" even before he became an embodiment of pretentiousness, but I can agree that the story had so much potential that was untapped or just ruined by dumb choices, that mystery from the start could of really had a better setup then payoff, and dang is it dumb to have sub-species that show up only once in media, even outside anime. It's such a waste and Sage is right when it comes to it coming off as just "whatever the writers needed for the plot at the time then immediately forgotten" when it could easily lead to the expansion of the world-building or just other plotlines aswell.
